Actress And Model Dayle Haddon Dies At 76 In Suspected Carbon Monoxide Leak

A renowned actress and model, Dayle Haddon, who was popular in the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, died at the age of 76 years old on Friday because of a suspected carbon monoxide leak that happened in Pennsylvania.

Solebury Township Police swiftly responded to a house around 9 a.m. in Bucks County after receiving a report of a man who passed out on the first floor of the detached SF suite. The yet-to-be-identified 76-year-old man had been taken to the hospital.

Haddon was discovered to have lost her life in a bedroom on the second floor. High carbon monoxide levels at the scene were detected by investigators.

A police officer and two of the health workers also experienced the exposure. The two medics were immediately rushed to the hospital and have been reported to be stable while the officer was treated on-site.

The model and actress who was born in Toronto on May 26, 1948, became popular as a supermodel before she went into acting. She featured in movies that include The World’s Greatest Athlete, released in 1973, and Bullets Over Broadway, released in 1994.

As dedicated humanitarian, she served as a UNICEF ambassador and founded WomenOne, a nonprofit advocating education for women and girls.
