Food Youtuber Rosanna Pansino smoked marijuana grown from the ashes of her late father as a form of tribute & granting of final wishes.
The 39-year-old said she was “smoking her dead dad” as part of his wishes when he was alive. During her first live podcast, Rodiculous, Rosanna said it was part of her father’s dying wish five years ago during his terminal stages of leukemia. Video below:
She said her father, Papa Pizza, had instructed her and her mom to cremate his body, “take his ashes, mix it in with some soil, and grow a marijuana plant and smoke him.” She revealed that her dad was a smoker and they both shared a cigar together on her 18th birthday.
After his death, Rosanna said her mother refused to grant her husband’s wish because of what people might say, but as the years rolled by, she thought it would be right to honor her husband and do what he wanted.
Rosanna made a video where she and her mother planted the cannabis plant, after mixing her daddy’s ashes with the soil. She claimed it was an emotional task for them and that her father would be very excited about it.
During the live show, the podcaster smoked the weed laden with her father’s ashes in the presence of her fans. Her mother and sister also smoked theirs, but it was not captured on video.
She then talked about her dad and how close they were to his death. She opened up on dealing with grief from his passing which she said was permanent and did not fade with time as she thought.
She acknowledged that her father was a rebel and she would be following in his footsteps – which she already seems to be doing. Though Rosanna Pansino did the stunt in her first episode on her podcast, she might have hinted to YouTube of her intentions, and they warned against it.
According to SFGate, she revealed that Youtube warned her that would be demonetized and suppressed the algorithm. She however went ahead because she was smoking her father and not just some ordinary weed.
