Video: Jaguar Trolled For "Woke" & "Gay" Rebranding, Logo, On New Advert. Promo Ranks As Most Disliked By Customers

Jaguar is facing a huge backlash from the public as well as loyalists following a promotional video that removed the cat logo and instead showed colors and people dressed in seemingly LGBTQ pride fashion.

Jaguar’s new advertisement was written off as gay-ish by many who faulted the idea of removing the fearsome feline cat logo for a text “Jaguar”, written in pink and embodying a rather feminine outlook. Watch the new promo video below:

The automobile’s social media handler had a field day responding to the very many negative comments and promising to send their feedback to the top management, while also asking them to look at the future.

The poor feedback from the ad is sure to make it rank as one of the worst promotional videos of all time in terms of customer likeness.

Top in the comment section was Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, who asked if the car company was still in the business of producing and selling cars. The promo video actually did not show any car hint but rather displayed people dressed in modern “woke” fashion culture.

“Awful, awful ad. Is this supposed to rescue your tarnished brand?” Frederick said, blasting the car company’s efforts to rebrand itself. Another noted that even the people used in the advert looked very unhappy, and said the video was painful to watch.

Others called for the immediate dismissal of Jaguar’s top management, especially its promotion, marketing, and communications head. One said their efforts would only lead to the fall of the once highly rated car brand, and many called for the boycotting of their cars.

Car enthusiast Andrew Tate was also in the comment. He said he owned 76 cars and not one was a Jaguar and because of their new strategy, he will never own one.

Jaguar owners were let down too. Patriotic Warrior said the promo video was beyond ridiculous, called the brand a joke, and said he will not go for another when it’s time to trade in. Shockingly, a reply informed him that the value of the car had already crashed so he would not be getting a good deal.

Another said he is already ashamed to drive his Jaguar because people were making fun of him, and he is thinking of dishing the car for now and taking an Uber to work.

“Do you have to be gay to drive a Jaguar?”, David asked, berating the car company’s assuming LGBTQIA rebranding. Another called it “The Queering of Jaguar…”

Huff shared a photo on what the preferred Jaguar promo should look like – a hot woman beside an aggressive-looking luxury car. And people agreed, voting it up by over 8.6k likes.

Volvo’s New Ad On Safety Seals Jaguars Fate – Video

While Jaguar is been dragged through the mud, Volvo released a promo video to again show off the top-notch safety features on its vehicles – this time, the new Ex90. Though the ad played for a whopping 3 minutes and 49 seconds, viewers were intrigued by the production – thanks to cinematographer Hoyte Van Hoytema. Watch below:

Sure, if you watch the ad, you will be captivated by the moment Volvo’s automatic pedestrian detection and braking system saved the life of the expectant mother and kept the hopes of an excited father alive.

The caption “Sometimes the moments that never happen matter the most” would surely give you chills, as it highlights the importance of auto safety & preventive technology, which has always been the center of Volvo cars – all trims including its base models.
