The body of Baton Rouge therapist, 69-year-old William Nicholas Abraham, was found wrapped in a tarp and abandoned near a Louisiana highway. Police have ruled the death as a homicide after the coroner’s office determined that Abraham had died from blunt force trauma.
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office received a report from a passerby who saw a “suspicious looking” tarp alongside La. 51 between the village of Tangipahoa and Fluker during the early hours of Sunday. Sheriff Gerald Sticker believes that the body was dumped there on Saturday evening.
He described the incident as a “very violent attack” that left the victim severely bruised, stating that Abraham had been “bludgeoned about in the head, shoulders, and neck.”
On Monday afternoon, just after noon, the victim’s vehicle, a black Lincoln MKX, was recovered near South Sherwood Forest Boulevard by officers. Surveillance footage revealed that the driver had run away on foot after avoiding a police traffic stop and causing a crash.
Hours later, the Sheriff’s Office released photos of a person of interest, a 20-year-old TikTok personality known as Terryon Ishmael Thomas aka Mr. Prada.
Deputies investigating the homicide stated that this individual was the last known person to have driven the MKX. However, it has not been confirmed whether this person is the same individual who crashed the vehicle initially.
William Nicholas Abraham is a life coach and a licensed professional counselor, according to his website. He is also an author and a former Catholic priest. WAFB reports that a funeral mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarksdale on October 7. Visitations are allowed on that same day from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Before Abraham’s passing, he was embroiled in a 2015 scandal when he was arrested on accusations of inappropriately touching a minor during one of his sessions. However, the charges were later dropped.
