Video: Hamas Kills Israeli Top Commander Col. Ehsan Daxa By Blowing Up His Tank. IDF Puts Total Number Of Soldiers Killed In War To 749

Hamas militants have released a video showing how they killed Ehsan Daxa, a high-ranking officer of the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) by exploding his armored tank during a combat in Northern Gaza.

The footage starts with the militants writing an inscription on the explosive device which was allegedly said to be an unexploded American bomb.

They then set and concealed the bomb on a road path on which the IDF would pass, wiring it to a detonator and waited for the moment.

41-year-old Brigade Colonel Ehsan Daxa came in his tank along the road. However, he was killed when he came down from his armored tank and walked to an observatory spot. The bomb which was set at the observatory spot was remotely detonated, killing the exposed officer instantly.

Watch the video below:

The IDF confirmed the death of the colonel who at this time, was the highest-ranking officer to be killed in the ongoing war against Hamas terrorists. Col. Ehsan was in charge of the 52nd Battalion of the 401st “Iron Tracks.

The Israeli Defence also revealed that another officer from the same battalion who was in another tank when the explosion occurred was badly injured and had been airlifted and sent for treatment. Two other officers were also slightly injured in the attack.

The IDF said that Colonel Ehsan Daxa and the others were at a lookout point in Jabalya. According to the Israeli military, 749 soldiers have been killed since the attack of Hezbollah-backed Hamas militants in Israel on October 7, 2023, and into the full-blown war to date, which has been taken into Palestine and Lebanon.

The late Brigadier fought against Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon during the second war. Following his prowess as a tank commander, he was promoted to colonel in 2020 and was placed in charge of the 205th “Iron Fist” Brigade. Now, he leaves behind a wife and three children to mourn his death.

For Hamas, the death of the Israeli top commander was a monumental achievement amid the elimination of many of its top leaders in recent times.
