Family Reveals Cause Of Death Of TikTok Star Taylor Rousseau Grigg Who Recently Passed Away at 25

Taylor Rousseau Grigg, a well-known TikTok star, passed away suddenly on October 4th at the age of 25. A spokesperson for her family confirmed to People and TODAY.com that her death was caused by complications from asthma and Addison’s disease.

Taylor’s husband, Cameron Grigg, had shared the news of her death on Instagram last week, featuring a carousel of their photos together. In his post, he expressed his deep sorrow and admiration for his wife, describing her passing as unexpected.

Cameron noted, “No one ever expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartache, especially at our age.” He added that Taylor had endured “more pain and suffering than most people do in a lifetime,” but remained a source of joy and positivity for everyone around her.

Mayo Clinic writes that Addison’s disease, also known as adrenal insufficiency, is a rare condition where the adrenal glands do not produce enough hormones, specifically cortisol and aldosterone. According to them, the illness can lead to severe symptoms like extreme tiredness, weight loss, low blood pressure, and muscle pain. In serious cases, it can cause an adrenal crisis, which is life-threatening.

On the other hand, Mayo Clinic states that Asthma is a chronic condition that causes the airways to narrow and swell, making it hard to breathe. It can lead to severe asthma attacks, which can be fatal if not treated quickly.

Before her death, Taylor Rousseau Grigg was open about her health struggles on TikTok, where she had over a million followers. She often shared her journey, talking about the challenges she faced due to her illnesses, however, she never mentioned what she was suffering from at the time.

In one of the videos she uploaded on TikTok two months ago, Taylor mentioned how her health had worsened, saying, “I should be able to carry my suitcase up the stairs, I should be able to walk to the mailbox, or run, and those are just things that I can’t do right now.”

Cameron described Taylor as the bravest and strongest person he knew in his Instagram post. He also revealed that Taylor’s organs would be donated to children. “More than anything Taylor would want to know that she’s continuing to save people’s lives even after she’s gone from this world,” he said.

Taylor’s sisters, Trinity Rousseau and Bailey Rousseau Wagner, also paid tribute to her on social media. Trinity shared that her sister passed away shortly before her 19th birthday, while Bailey talked about how Taylor had always hoped to make an impact on the world, and through her organ donation, she has done so in a profound way.

“She’s always had hopes of leaving her mark on this world, but in her wildest dreams I don’t think she ever would’ve imagined her legacy being carried on this way,” Bailey wrote.

Taylor Rousseau Grigg’s family has thanked everyone for the support and love they have received from her fans. They have also organized a benefit in her honor through a GoFundMe campaign to help with the financial burdens left by her passing.
