NFL Finds No Disciplinary Action Against Brandon McManus Following Sexual Assault Allegations

NFL Kicker Brandon McManus Avoids League Discipline Amid Sexual Assault Allegations

According to the NFL’s representative Brian McCarthy, Brandon McManus, a former NFL kicker for the Jacksonville Jaguars, who was accused of assaulting two female flight attendants, will not face any disciplinary action from the NFL.

In a statement released on Monday, the league announced that it had conducted a thorough investigation into the allegations but had found “insufficient evidence” to warrant any punishment.

“There was insufficient evidence to support a finding that a violation of the personal conduct policy occurred. As always, if new evidence is presented it would be taken into consideration.”

McManus, a free agent at the moment, has been accused of sexual assault by two women, Nicole Anderson and Daisy Torres. They claim the assault took place on a chartered airline during his trip to London last year.

Initially using the aliases Jane Doe I and Jane Doe II, the women had to disclose their identities in early September after a Florida court judge ruled that their case did not warrant the use of pseudonyms. According to ESPN, the accusers, who filed a lawsuit against McManus in May 2024, are seeking a jury trial for the case.

The lawsuit claims that Brandon McManus who was on the plane with his team, the Jaguars, had created an unsafe environment for the attendants after he got drunk. It is alleged that the 33-year-old had repeatedly rubbed and ground himself against the two women and had at some point thrown dollar bills at them to get them to dance for him. It is also claimed that McManus had tried to kiss Daisy.

Daisy Torres and Nicole Anderson are seeking more than a million dollars in reparation. Brandon McManus had signed a one-year contract with the Washington Commanders after his contract with the Jaguars expired. However, after the lawsuit was filed, the team cut him off almost immediately.
