‘1000-Lb. Sisters’ Star Amy Slaton Arrested For Possession Of Marijuana & Child Endangerment After Bitten By Camel

1000 Lb. Sisters Star Amy Slaton Booked Into Crockett County Jail For Possession Of Marijuana and Child Endangerment 1

On September 2 aka Labor Day, reality TV star Amy Slaton was arrested along with a male, Brian Scott Lovvorn, at the Tennessee Safari Park in Alamo.

The Crockett County deputies had discovered what they suspected to be illegal substances, such as mushrooms and Marijuana, in Slaton’s vehicle after they were initially called to the park for a camel bite incident. The department stated on its Facebook page,

“Upon arrival, deputies were immensely overtaken by suspicious odors coming from the guest’s vehicle.”

They quickly searched the vehicle to find where the odor was coming from and that’s when they found the drugs. According to People, Amy Slaton had claimed to be bitten on her right arm by one of the camels from the Safari park. This detail has still not been confirmed by the officials but it is said that she has received treatment for her injury.

DHS maintains they are still investigating the incident, especially about Amy Slaton’s children, who were also present during the search, presumably in the backseat of the vehicle. The County Sheriff’s Department Public Information Officer (PIO) Stephen Sutton said in their statement,

“Our officer’s concern (was) not only the possession of the illegal drugs..you got two children that are in the vehicle with you. Who’s under the influence? What exactly’s going on?”

The two children are now in the custody of their family members.
