Texas A&M Brings Michael Earley ‘Back’ To Aggieland As New Head Baseball Coach

Michael Earley was officially introduced as Texas A&M’s next head baseball coach on Tuesday afternoon.

The coach served as the Aggies’ hitting coach for the last three seasons, and both current and former players voiced their support, tagging him as a great candidate to be the next coach.

Earley is recognized in college baseball as one of the best coaches and recruiters, despite not having head coaching experience. Beyond his coaching abilities, he understands and embraces the spirit of Aggieland.

Earley mentioned that it’s been the craziest week of his life, but he has also enjoyed the challenge so far.

He has retained Jason Hutchins and Will Fox from the previous coaching staff and added Texas’ Caleb Longley and University of Washington head coach Jason Kelly.

Ali Camarillo, Gavin Grahovac, Jace LaViolette, and Hayden Schott have all withdrawn their names from the transfer portal and will return to Aggieland next year since Earley’s announcement as head coach.
