Hip-hop artist Rick Ross was reportedly involved in a fight after his performance at the Ignite Music Festival in Vancouver, Canada. Video shows Ross being struck by an unidentified individual as he was leaving the stage while Kendrick Lamar’s song “Not Like Us,” which contains lyrics critical of Drake, was playing through the venue’s speakers.

This detail has drawn attention due to Ross’s ongoing feud with Drake, a Toronto native. Witnesses report that the initial strike led to a larger brawl involving multiple individuals. Additional video appears to show one of Ross’s associates being knocked unconscious during the melee.

In a statement to TMZ on Monday morning, Rick Ross, however, downplayed the severity of the incident, stating that no one in his entourage was seriously injured. He also expressed positive sentiments about Vancouver on his Instagram stories, describing it as “beautiful” and indicating his eagerness to return.

The altercation has sparked reactions from other figures in the hip-hop community. 50 Cent, a long-time rival of Ross, was one of those who took to social media to comment on the incident.

Meanwhile, Drake, who was not present at the event, liked a social media post recapping the altercation. As of the time of writing, local authorities have not yet released an official statement regarding the incident.
