The nominations for the 76th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards have been unveiled today, July 17. The ceremony is scheduled to air live on ABC on Sunday, September 15, from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
This year’s nominations has some streaming services and cable networks making strong showings alongside traditional broadcasters. FX’s “Shōgun” led the drama category with an impressive 25 nominations, while “The Bear” set a new record in the comedy field with 23 nods.
