A video that showed butt-naked girls twerking was shot at a New Jersey High School Gym (Newark) to promote an upcoming celebrity basketball tournament called ‘Nuttin But Azz’ New Jersey drew outrage and the game itself was canceled.
‘Nuttin But Azz’ was scheduled to be held at West Side High School next month and was to be hosted by celebrity music manager Big Fendi on July 21. In the promo video, Fendi who had previously managed Nicki Minaj, mentioned the rapper’s name.
The adult promotional video called the “NBA Baddies Basketball Tournament NJ,” showed scantily dressed women dancing and twerking on chairs in the school’s gym.

The organizers said the best four teams will win a grand prize of $10,000, and tickets sold up to $500.
Responding to the backlash, Newark school authorities distanced themselves and claimed they thought the event was a community basketball tournament. They also denied having prior knowledge of the promotional video. However, no remark was made on the title of the event itself, ‘Nuttin But Azz’.
“No school or district official was aware of the video until it was posted on social media,” Nancy Deering, Newark Public Schools spokeswoman said. “This was supposed to be a community basketball event sponsored by Councilman Kelly. No school or district official approved the activity depicted in the video or knew that an event at one of our schools would include such activity.”
Fendi took responsibility and issued an apology in a statement.
“We were doing an event and then, you know, things went a little left, and out of control, and I take full responsibility for that, cause you guys had no knowledge of what these girls would be wearing in this celebrity game,” Big Fendi said in the apology video”, she said.
“I want to apologize to the parents, to the students, for affecting anyone, and anybody else that was involved, and my deepest apologies,” Big Fendi added. “Hopefully this helps.”
