The horrifying video captured the moment a man attacked his ex-girlfriend, hitting her severally on the head till she died, while other people did little to stop him. The attack happened on the streets of Mumbai, India, after she broke up with him.
According to an official report, the former boyfriend, Rohit Yadav, attacked the 20-year-old woman identified as Aarti Yadav in broad daylight in Maharashtra’s Palghar district at about 9.15 am while she was going to work.
The police on getting to the scene met the lifeless body of the girl, which had 15 visible injury marks. Her corpse has been sent to the coroner for an autopsy.

According to authorities, both of them were in a relationship and the man attacked and killed the girl after she called it off, and he suspected she was having an affair with another man.
The CCTV footage captured Yadav coming from behind and hitting Aarti on the head with an industrial spanner many times as she struggled.
He reportedly yelled “Kyun kiya aisa mere saath (why did you do this to me),” as he dealt the deadly blows to her.
The video drew outrage due to the lack of empathy from passersby except for a man, who did nothing to help.
