One Of Two Women Found Guilty In Armed Robbery At Toledo Dollar Store

One of the two women who was accused of robbing a Toledo Family Dollar has been found guilty.

Court documents show that Deanna Graves entered a guilty plea to a charge of robbery after accepting a plea deal. Along with Keira Triplett, she was initially accused of aggravated robbery.

Authorities stated that on March 21, at approximately 9:00 a.m., they were dispatched to the Family Dollar on East Boundary in response to robbery reports. When they got there, they found out that the manager had tried to speak with Deanna Graves, 36, one of the suspects, who was allegedly shoplifting and trying to take merchandise with her.

Graves then allegedly threatened the manager with a knife and twice struck her with it in an attempt to sever her, according to Toledo Police. Taking the merchandise with her, Graves fled the store and was driven away by 26-year-old Keira Triplett in a gray Kia Forte.

TPD reports that the car was able to be stopped by the police, who then arrested Triplett and Graves.

Triplett is expected back in court on July 17; Graves’ sentencing is set for June 28.
