The Super Eagles of Nigeria failed to defeat the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier held in Uyo.
This marks the third time South Africa has remained unbeaten against Nigeria on home soil, in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.

The second half showed a change in the Super Eagles’ game, with their energy focused on finding more goals to take the lead.
When Chukwueze came in, he created several chances, but none resulted in a goal.
Mokwana and Tau were star players for South Africa, but they also couldn’t score.
Nwabali remained confident in the goalpost, and Tanimu held the right-back position firmly.
