During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, actress Dakota Johnson faced an unexpected wardrobe challenge with poise and humor. The star of the upcoming film “Daddio” was promoting her latest project when a strap on her elegant black slip dress came undone, leading to an impromptu adjustment mid-interview.

The incident occurred after Kimmel showed a clip from Johnson’s new movie. As the conversation resumed, the host noticed and pointed out the wardrobe malfunction. Johnson, maintaining her composure, acknowledged the issue with a laugh, saying, “My dress just — it just fell off.”

Rather than letting the mishap derail the interview, the actress continued the conversation while discreetly holding her dress in place. She even joked about the situation, placing both hands over her chest at one point and quipping, “The movie is really good.”

Throughout the remainder of the interview, Dakota Johnson managed to keep her dress intact while discussing various topics, including the process of selecting a prop for a particular scene in “Daddio.” She shared an amusing anecdote about how the film’s props master sourced and selected a “dick pic” with the help of her friends.

“There’s not really a back stock of penis photos that are usable in movies,” she told the host. “Our amazing props master Diana Burton, who is a woman in her 60s, had a group of her male friends just anonymously send in photos to her. The four of us…just like four women [saying], ‘This one’s nice.’ ‘That one’s not great.’ We really studied them.”

This isn’t the first time Dakota Johnson has encountered wardrobe issues during public appearances. She previously experienced a similar situation on The Late Late Show With James Corden in 2022, where she struggled with a short red dress.
