The moment three American children were struck by a lightning bolt on a beach in San Juan, Puerto Rico was captured on video.

The incident happened on Monday, MAY 27 in the northern coastal town of Isabela, Puerto Rican. As seen in the footage from a mobile phone recording, the children huddled with each other before the lightning struck the group amid thunder. After the lighting strike, people gathered around the children and performed CPR to revive them.

According to a police statement, the children, aged 7, 10, and 12, were rushed to a hospital in Aguadilla, and the eldest is in serious condition.

The parents of the kids were blamed by many in the comment section for allowing their children to go out in the open beach during a thunderstorm.

It was also reported that a lightning strike had earlier killed a rancher and 34 cows in the US.

The lightning strike happened when 51-year-old Mike Morgan was feeding his cattle from a trailer in Colorado, killing him on the scene, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

The county coroner George Crocket reported that the lightning bolt struck a herd of cattle, numbering about 100 cows, killing 34 of them.
