Despite Umar’s absence, the Nigerian international has made significant contributions throughout the season, featuring in 26 matches, scoring three goals, and providing one assist for Real Sociedad.
The scoring action commenced with Suárez’s opening goal in the 33rd minute, albeit an own goal, much to the satisfaction of the home fans.
Real Sociedad further solidified their advantage just before halftime as Becker found the net in the 45th minute, effectively putting the match out of Las Palmas’ reach.
