CNN obtained a 2016 surveillance video showing Sean “Diddy” Combs grabbing, shoving, dragging, and kicking his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura during an argument that matches allegations in a now-resolved federal lawsuit initiated by Ventura in November

The video compiled from a lot of camera angles dated March 5, 2016, shows Diddy during an incident that the former girlfriend’s complaint happened at the already closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles.

The video also shows Ventura exiting a hotel room and walking to a bank of elevators. Diddy held a towel around his waist rims down a hall chasing Ventura. The rapper grabbed her by the back of her neck and pushed her to the floor. Still holding his turn closed with one hand, he later turns to kick her, according to the surveillance footage.

Diddy took a purse and suitcase from the floor closer to the elevators when Ventura was still on the floor. He later drags Ventura by her shirt towards a room before running off.

Ventura is also seen in the video standing up slowly as she gathers items from the floor and moves to pick up a phone in the hallway beside the elevators. Diddy who was still in a town and socks, returns. A mirror placed directly across from the security surveillance shows Diddu appearing to shove Ventura.

After a few seconds, the businessman sat down on a chair, grabbed an object from a table and forcefully threw it at Ventura. Diddy was shown waking away, then moving towards his former girlfriend once again when an elevator door opens and someone appears to exit.

Ventura has refused to answer questions on the surveillance footage received by CNN.

Ventura’s attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, said: “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”
