Celtics Secure NBA Finals Spot With Game 4 Sweep Over Pacers

The Boston Celtics advanced to the NBA Finals after completing a sweep of the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals with a 105-102 victory in Game 4.

Derrick White’s crucial 3-pointer with 43 seconds remaining secured the lead for Boston, sealing the series sweep on Monday night. This win marks Boston’s second trip to the NBA Finals in three years.

White contributed 16 points, while Jaylen Brown led the team with 29 points. Jayson Tatum added a near triple-double with 26 points, 13 rebounds, and eight assists, helping the Celtics overcome a nine-point deficit in the second half.

The Celtics’ sweep comes a year after they rallied from a 3-0 deficit in the conference finals to force a Game 7.

Indiana, missing two-time All-Star Tyrese Haliburton, suffered its second consecutive home loss in the final minute after leading. Andrew Nembhard scored 24 points, with 10 assists and six rebounds, but missed a critical 3-pointer in the closing seconds.

Pascal Siakam added 19 points and 10 rebounds for Indiana, while T.J. McConnell scored 15 points, and Aaron Nesmith contributed 14.
