Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift’s partner, seemed to affirm widespread fan speculation that the pop star’s latest song “So High School” is about him.

On the “New Heights” podcast’s X account, the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs player seemingly referenced a lyric from “So High School” that hinted at him and his father, Ed Kelce. The song featured on Swift’s double album, “The Tortured Poets Department: Anthology,” released last Friday.

Known for mimicking his father Ed on “New Heights,” Kelce, alongside brother Jason Kelce, 36, often shares humorous anecdotes. Shortly after the album’s release, the “New Heights” X account shared a nostalgic clip of Travis and Jason jesting about Ed, captioning it, “Those Papa Kelce impressions are just too good.”

In the video, Travis and Jason playfully teased their father’s insistence on finishing mashed potatoes before leaving the dinner table.

Swift fans swiftly caught on to the apparent mention in “So High School” and expressed their thoughts in the comments.

Kelce and Swift initially met at Travis’ home in Kansas City, Missouri, during a gathering attended by the singer, who attended 13 of his games last season. During an appearance on Audacy 92.3’s “Baskin & Phelps” radio show in January, Ed Kelce recalled meeting Swift for the first time.

He explained that Travis often invites friends over before a home game, and they travel together to the stadium. Although Ed has met some of Travis’ friends, he admitted he couldn’t recognize everyone.

Since their first meeting, Swift has grown close to the Kelce family, debuting her relationship with the NFL star in September.

Fans also noted other lyrics in “So High School” that seemed to reference Kelce’s remarks, including his uncertainty about how he won Swift over.

Kelce previously confessed on “New Heights” that he wasn’t sure how he managed to woo Swift since she wasn’t interested in sports.

Additionally, Swift’s song appeared to allude to Kelce’s 2016 interview with AfterBuzz TV, where he played a game of “Kiss, Marry, Kill” involving Swift, Ariana Grande, and Katy Perry.

Another lyric hinted at the couple’s debut public appearance when Kelce was photographed opening a car door for Swift.
