Palace’s Schlupp Secures Spectacular Goal In Draw Against Fulham

Jeffrey Schlupp delivered a stunning strike from 25 yards out, clinching a crucial point for Crystal Palace in their Premier League clash against Fulham.

Adam Wharton’s precise pass located Schlupp just outside the box in the dying moments of the game. The substitute unleashed a powerful shot that soared into the top corner, leaving goalkeeper Bernd Leno with no chance of making a save.

Fulham initially took the lead shortly after halftime through Rodrigo Muniz’s emphatic header. The Brazilian capitalized on Timothy Castagne’s accurate cross, maintaining his impressive form since the end of January.

However, Palace, now unbeaten in four league matches, displayed resilience by mounting a comeback in the closing minutes, despite Fulham’s dominance in the first half.

Michael Olise, filling in for the injured Eberechi Eze, had a promising opportunity early on but failed to hit the target. Despite dominating possession, Palace struggled to convert their chances into goals.

The visitors’ missed opportunities almost proved costly when Chris Richards narrowly missed heading in Olise’s free-kick, while Jean-Phillipe Mateta squandered a close-range volley.

Fulham, meanwhile, threatened with Muniz’s attempt to catch Dean Henderson off guard and Issa Diop’s header over the bar from a corner before halftime.
