Police in Nashville are searching for 46-year-old Anton Rucker, who is accused of opening fire during an Easter brunch at the Roasted restaurant on Sunday. The shooting left one person dead and several others ~ possibly 7~ injured.
The deceased victim has been identified as 33-year-old Allen Beachem by the Metro Nashville police. While the number and extent of other victims’ injuries are unclear, police stated they were not critical.
After the shooting around 3 p.m., Rucker allegedly fled the scene in a gray Mercedes GLS 450, which was later found abandoned about two miles away.
Anton Rucker is a convicted felon with prior aggravated assault convictions in Nashville. He also has pending charges from August for aggravated assault and gun crimes, as well as drug charges from October.
Authorities are urging anyone who sees Rucker to immediately contact Nashville police at 615-862-8600 as the search continues for the suspect wanted for the deadly Easter brunch shooting.
