American rapper Quavo was forced to perform on an empty stage after virtually no fans turned up for his concert in in Bridgeport, Connecticut on Friday.
Photos and videos of his empty concert quickly went viral on social media with many fans believing Chris Brown must have bought all his tickets in a bid to ensure nobody attended the show that was held in HealthCare Amphitheater, which has over 5,700 seats.
Both celebrities have not been on good terms dishing diss tracks and counters on each other.
Quavo’s venue was so appeared that the handful of fans that came did not stay in their seats but hurdled right up to the stage.
Buying up a rival’s ticket seats and ensuring no turnout of fans is one way to bring down the morale of a performer, and it is not new in the entertainment industry.
During 50 Cent and Ja Rule’s beef in 2018, the G-Unit rapper bought tickets for all the front-row seats and left them empty. He then shared an edited image of himself in the front row seats on Instagram with the caption; “”What a show, I mean just f**king great”, “Do it again my kid went to the restroom.”
