Hailey Van Lith finished with 26 points as No. 13 LSU women’s basketball defeated Tennessee in Knoxville 75-60 on Sunday afternoon.
After ending the first period up 19-16, LSU (24-4) never lost the lead against Tennessee (16-10) despite multiple attempts to close the game.
Hailey finished with 26 points, seven rebounds and three assists on 9-18 shot attempts, including her going 4-5 three-pointers.
She scored 16 of her 26 points in the second half and scored two of her four 3-pointers in the second half.
“Hailey has taken a lot of criticism, and it needs to stop. She’s learning a new position,” Mulkey said. “She made big shots when we needed them.”
LSU finished shooting 29-for-88 (33%) as a team, and 6-for-15 (40%) from three.
The LSU women’s basketball game has now won six games in a row.

Freshman Mikaylah was a big help. She finished the game with 15 points, five rebounds, and five assists, shooting 7-for-18 from the field and 1-for-5 from three. Six of her 15 points came in the fourth quarter.
