Watertown’s Noah Kahan Is Nominated For ‘Best New Artist’ In GRAMMY Award


New England-born folk-pop musician Noah Kahan received a GRAMMY nomination on Friday.

Kahan is one of the eight nominees for the esteemed Best New Artist award.

“Dreams do come true,” he posted on social media after the announcement.

“Stick Season,” a popular song of his, is titled after the gloomy period of late autumn that precedes the arrival of winter in his native Vermont.

Apart from his well-received 2022 album of the same name, Kahan has garnered significant recognition by collaborating with celebrities such as Post Malone, Hozier, and Kacey Musgraves.

Currently residing in Watertown, Massachusetts, is the 26-year-old.

This summer, Kahan attracted enormous crowds to Outside Lands, Boston Calling, Bonnaroo, Summerfest, and Lollapalooza. As part of a 2024 stadium tour, he has two sold-out shows at Boston’s Fenway Park set on consecutive evenings in July.
