San Antonio Spurs Tip Off Annual ‘Season Of Giving’ To Spread Cheer In The Community

As part of the “NBA Season of Giving,” a five-week celebration that runs from mid-November through December during which NBA teams give back by supporting and uplifting youth, families, and organizations in their communities, the San Antonio Spurs are bringing joy to local families this holiday season through player engagements and community-centered initiatives.

In addition to serving Thanksgiving dinner to families, the Spurs players and the SS&E organization will also give away decorated Christmas trees to families, give holiday gifts to children, and donate shoes for kids. The Spurs are working with partners and nonprofits like Ashley, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Methodist Healthcare, Elf Louise Christmas Project, San Antonio Food Bank, and San Antonio Police Department to make these community moments possible.

Every endeavor seeks to highlight and honor the significant contributions made by our neighborhood partners and organizations, who give their all every day to better our communities. Spurs Sports & Entertainment’s steadfast dedication to community impact is embodied in Season of Giving, which builds relationships between players, partners, staff, and families in the communities where we live, work, learn, and play.
