Julian Humphrey Injured During Ole Miss Match Against Georgia

Though he is healthy and ready to play, the Bulldogs‘ star tight end, Brock Bowers, was deemed iffy for the game going into it.

Bulldog supporters are now worried about another injury after defensive back Julian Humphrey left the game against Ole Miss with what seemed to be a shoulder injury while trying to tackle Ole Miss running back Quinshon Judkins.

Humphrey is currently undergoing evaluation after assistance to the medical tent.

The Ole Miss football team appeared to be outmatched as Georgia thoroughly destroyed Lane Kiffin and the Rebels in a 52-17 defeat on Saturday.

Early in the first quarter, Ole Miss tied the Bulldogs for a touchdown thanks to an audacious fourth down call. However, the Georgia defense seized over and stymied the Rebels’ attack. During the game, Ole Miss gave up more over 600 yards of offense.

However, things became much worse when Jaxson Dart was forced off the field in the third quarter due to an injury sustained following a hard hit by Zion Logue.

After sustaining the injury, Dart did not play again; Spencer Sanders took his place. After the game, Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin stated that Dart had the option to come back, but he chose not to because of the Rebels’ 38-14 disadvantage at the moment.
