Glastonbury Ticket Sales Opened For 2 More Weeks

Glastonbury Ticket Sales Opened For 2 More Weeks

Glastonbury Annual event organizers have pushed the 2024 ceremony by two weeks so that more people can buy tickets or register.

According to them, the decision was “to ensure that everyone who would like to buy a ticket is registered and therefore eligible to purchase one … it has come to light that some individuals hoping to buy tickets for 2024 have discovered after Monday’s registration deadline that they are no longer registered, despite believing they were.”

Ticket sales would begin again on Thursday, 16th of November, for packages including coach travel. General admission tickets will go on sale at 9 am GMT, Sunday 19 November.

According to Annie Mac and Nick Grimshaw’s Sidetracked podcast, organizer Emily Eavis said that the headliner would be a woman.

“The 2024 lineup is still a little up in the air … And I thought it was kind of taking shape and then last week I just got a call, and this is what happens if you wait a little longer because quite often we’ll be booked up from July.

“This year we’re holding out for a little bit longer and last week I got a call from a really big American artist saying this person’s around next year, and I was like, oh my God, this is incredible, thank God we held the slot,” she added.

Rumors are flying that the headliner might be Dua Lipa, who is set to release a new single next week, and Madonna, who is currently on her ‘Celebration’ tour.

Glastonbury 2024 opens its gates on Wednesday 26 June and runs until Sunday 30 June.
