Leonard made two free throws with fifteen seconds remaining, stole the ball, and George made a layup to make the score 109-108. Denver sealed the game with two free throws from Jokic and a 3-pointer missed by George.

After P.J. Tucker’s 3-pointer to start the fourth quarter gave Los Angeles an 87-84 lead, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope’s two free throws with 8:30 left gave the Nuggets a point.

Westbrook drove the baseline and George drained a 14-footer to make it 93-89. With 4:45 remaining, Jokic made a short turnaround in the lane to pull the Clippers within three points after the team scored four straight points to go ahead 99-92. Porter then responded with a jumper.

Gordon’s putback dunk made it 99-98 after Los Angeles missed on the other end with 3:47 remaining.

At the half, the Nuggets led 60–52, but in the third, the Clippers mounted a comeback. With five seconds remaining, Harden made it 84-81 after making two free throws to give Los Angeles the lead.
