Chaotic Moments Unfold As Sergio Ramos Receives ‘Two Red Cards’ In Match Against Real Sociedad

Sergio Ramos received TWO red cards for Sevilla against Real Sociedad in a chaotic turn of events.

Sevilla faced a 2-1 defeat against Sociedad, finishing the match with nine men after the late dismissals of Ramos and Jesus Navas.

Marko Dmitrovic’s own-goal and Umar Sadiq provided Sociedad a two-goal lead, with Youssef En-Nesyri pulling one back on the hour mark.

Despite their efforts, Sevilla couldn’t find the equalizer as Ramos and Navas were both sent off during the closing stages of Sunday’s La Liga clash.

Ramos, already on a yellow card, fouled Brais Mendez, prompting the match referee to brandish a second yellow card to the legendary defender.

Nevertheless, with VAR intervention, the referee withdrew the second yellow card and instead presented the 37-year-old with a straight red card.

Thus, from a technical standpoint, Ramos received two red cards.

Predictably, his peculiar moment ignited a social media frenzy as fans playfully teased the former Real Madrid star.

One X user wrote: “How did bro got two red cards in one game. Classic Sergio Ramos.”

A second tweeted: “I know he likes a card but this is impressive even for Sergio Ramos.”

A third added: “Sergio Ramos has to be the god of red cards.”

A fourth said: “Sergio Ramos adds another red card to his legacy.”

Another joked: “How did Sergio Ramos receive 2 red cards in a single match?!”
