Bruno Fernandes Stoppage Time Goal Give Manchester United All 3 Points Against Fulham

Manchester United’s captain, Bruno Fernandes was the difference between the Red Devils and Fulham as his lone goal secured all three points for the visitors.

Rashford did not feature in the match after failing a fitness test for a leg injury.

Rashford had been criticized by Ten Hag after posting his birthday celebration at the club after Manchester United crashed out of the Carabao Cup.

Scotch McTomimay had put the ball in the back of the net in the 8th minute, but it was ruled out for offside after referee John Brooks viewed it on the pitchside monitor.

United were once again dreadful as they struggled to make an impact against Fulham till stoppage time.

Ten Hag had spent more than £400m on new signings since being unveiled 18 months ago, including £72m for Rasmus Hojlund, who remains without a Premier League goal.

Before scoring the winning goal, Fernandes had forced Leno into an acrobatic save while Andre Onana made two saves to deny Harry Wilson and Joao Palhinha.

In the 91st minute, he fired a low shot past Bernd Leno from the edge of the box following a poor clearance.

Fulham have not defeated United since 2009 and they are having a terrible campaign so far recording consecutive losses.

They had just two attempts on target and they are sitting pretty in the bottom half of the PL table with one win in six league games.

The stoppage-time winner means that United has now won three consecutive away games in the Premier League for the first time since 2020.
