
An arrest has been made in connection with a bomb threat at a Target in Fort Myers.
On the evening of September 12, the threat was made at the Target shopping center along Dynasty Drive. The plaza had to be shut down for several hours and had to be evacuated, according to the Fort Myers Police Department (FMPD).
FMPD investigators discovered after conducting an investigation that the threat originated in Lehigh Acres.
For the incident, Jashaud Jackson Jr., 15, was detained on Tuesday. Jackson is accused of making bomb threats and falsely reporting the existence of an explosive weapon of mass destruction.
