Noah Darvich Scores First Goal For Barcelona In Youth League Game Against Shakhtar

Noah Darvich, a summer acquisition from Barcelona, made his debut for his new team on Wednesday against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Youth League.

Darvich, who came from Freiburg to join Barca Atletic, gave the Catalans the early lead in their 2-0 victory.

After fifteen minutes, the German youth player, donning the No. 10, scored the first goal of the match when he pounced on a loose ball in the box and blasted a confident finish home.

For the 17-year-old, who is regarded as one of the best players to come out of German football in recent years, it was a good occasion. Notwithstanding reports that Man City, Arsenal, and PSG were all interested in him, Barcelona signed him up in the summer.

In the UEFA Youth League event this season, Barcelona’s Under-19 team won three out of four games after scoring again, this time by a goal from Juan Hernandez.
