Dolphins Wide Receiver Tyreek Hill Says He’s ‘Good,’ To Play Against Patriots

Tyreek Hill, a wide receiver for the Dolphins, missed practice on Wednesday due to a hip issue. He returned to the field on Thursday and confirmed that he will play in the Patriots game on Sunday.

For Thursday’s practice, he was officially designated as a limited participant.

Although Hill had previously been granted veteran rest days, it was made apparent by the team’s injury report on Wednesday that his absence was due to an ailment. Though he’s “good,” the NFL’s leading receiver in receiving touchdowns and receiving yards told reporters on Thursday.

Also, sources tell ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the Dolphins want for CB Jalen Ramsey to return on Sunday following his summertime knee injury. Ramsey, who had a restricted practice on Wednesday, is anticipated to return to action in approximately three months to the day after undergoing knee surgery in July.

After suffering a left meniscus tear on the second day of training camp, Ramsey was out for the Dolphins’ first seven games. The next day, he had surgery, and even though he began the season on injured reserve, he has consistently attended Dolphins workouts and games.

If Ramsey were to play on Sunday, Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel would not specify if he would play on a snap count. However, he did indicate the team would value Ramsey’s expertise in running defensive coordinator Vic Fangio’s scheme.

Ramsey discussed the rumors about the Dolphins’ plans for him to play on social media.

Since 2020, Hill has not missed a single game. With 902 receiving yards in seven games, he leads the league and is headed for a career-high and NFL record 2,190 receiving yards.

Along with Hill, the players who missed practice on Wednesday, including safety Jevon Holland, guard Robert Jones, fullback Alec Ingold, and running back Raheem Mostert, returned on Thursday. There was a list of four players that were limited participants.

Holland is still undergoing the concussion protocol, so his status is still unknown.

Wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (back), center Connor Williams (groin), and starting cornerback Xavien Howard (groin) were also limited on Thursday. Cam Smith, a rookie cornerback, was sidelined due to a foot injury sustained late in the Wednesday practice.
