Brentford Thrashes Chelsea At Stamford Bridge

Brentford capitalized on Chelsea’s mistakes and took all three points home in their clash against the Blue giants at Stamford Bridge.

Ethan Pinnock’s header in the second half put the visitors at the forefront as Chelsea could not convert their possession to goals.

“The frustration is so massive,” Pochettino told talkSPORT radio, saying a strong first-half performance gave way to a lack of calm after the break.

“We are doing our job, we are happy here,” the Argentine said. “We need to be clinical and score more goals. This is what is missing… We need to keep believing.”

Noni Madueke’s shot almost found the back of the net, but it hit the post instead.

Brentford’s third league win at Stamford Bridge in as many seasons meant that they have passed their neighbors and are in the 10th spot.

Chelsea has invested 1-billion in young players this summer transfer window and nothing seems to be working out for them, they may invest more in the January transfer window.

After a stale first half, in which Chelsea created many chances but could not find the back of the net, Ethan Pinnock scored in the 58th minute. He sent in a strong header from Bryan Mbeumo’s cross.

Chelsea goalie Sanchez was away from his post when Bryan Mbeumo sent the ball into an empty net from a corner to run the Blues.

Chelsea have now won only one of their last 13 home league games.
