2 Chainz and Lil Wayne‘s next collaborative album, Welcome 2 Collegrove will be available through Def Jam on November 17. The rappers also released “Presha,” a song made in Bangladesh and serving as the project’s first single. Look it over below. The cover of the album can be found below.
The rapper’s 2016 joint album Collegrove is followed by Welcome 2 Collegrove. The title is a portmanteau of Wayne’s hometown (Hollygrove, Louisiana) and 2 Chainz’s hometown (College Park, Georgia). Since the latter artist’s Playaz Circle days, when they collaborated on “Duffle Bag Boy,” Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz have a lengthy history of working together.
Lil Wayne released his solo album Tha Fix Before tha VI following his performance of “Kat Food” at the MTV Video Music Awards. 2 Chainz most recently released Dope Don’t Sell Itself in 2022.
