Odell Beckham Jr., a wide receiver for the Ravens, won’t take the field against the Colts on Sunday.
While Beckham’s ankle injury, which head coach John Harbaugh described as not significant, kept him out of practice this week and the team ruled him out on Friday, it was enough to cause him to miss the second half of last Sunday’s victory over the Bengals.
Backing up Six additional players, including Justice Hill (toe), have been ruled out. The others are cornerback Marlon Humphrey (foot), safety Marcus Williams (pec), linebacker Odafe Oweh (ankle), left tackle Ronnie Stanley (knee), center Tyler Linderbaum (ankle), and linebacker Odafe Oweh (ankle).
According to head coach John Harbaugh, he “thought we might have a couple guys back this week” and anticipates a better injury situation for Week Four. Jeremiah Moon, a linebacker, will receive a promotion this weekend, he added.
Melvin Gordon and Kenyan Drake might potentially be in line for promotions now that Hill is out. The 53-man roster space would need to be made available if the organization wanted to add both.
