As Taylor Swift sets to conclude her Eras Tour in the United States, the singer announced that she would be coming back with another tour in America and Canada next year 2024, in October and November, and themed it the “stadium tour”.
On Thursday morning, Swift revealed 15 additional performances in four North American cities, including a long-awaited response to the musical query: What about Canada? The Eras Tour will play six shows at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, during what is now its final date in November 2024.
A year from this fall, three gigs in each of Miami, New Orleans, and Indianapolis will also be added before that. The events will take place at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium from October 18 to 20, New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome from October 25 to 27, and Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium from November 1 to 3.
All of the North American dates for the fall of 2024 will open with Gracie Abrams, it was confirmed.
“Turns out it’s NOT the end of an era,” Swift wrote on social media. “Miami, New Orleans, Indy and Toronto: The Eras Tour is coming to you in 2024 with @gracieabrams! Verified fan registration for all shows is open now – visit TaylorSwift.com for more information.”
Fans are advised on Swift’s website that Verified Fan registration is currently available, but it closes this Saturday at 5 p.m. ET/2 PT. Additionally, resale tickets for the additional performances will be made available on websites like Vividseats, StubHub, and Seatgeek.
Notably, Swift did not state that these were the final dates, allowing room for potential future additions to the tour after its surprise return to North America after a 2024 schedule that takes the Eras Tour across Europe.
The Eras Tour’s American leg was supposed to have ended with a six-night engagement at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium starting today and running through August 9 as far as the general public was aware earlier this week.
Swift will next perform across Latin America for the remainder of the year but at a slower pace than the concerts that have kept her on the road in the United States since the Eras Tour kicked off on March 17 in Arizona. She appears in Mexico City, Aug. 24-27; Buenos Aires, Nov. 9–11; Rio de Janeiro, Nov. 17–19; and Sao Paulo, Nov. 24-26; all with special guest Sabrina Carpenter.
The tour launches in 2024 with four performances in Tokyo from February 7–10, then continues on to Sydney, Australia, and Singapore in March. The tour’s European leg kicks out on May 9 with four nights in Paris and concludes on August 17 with the final of six gigs planned for London’s Wembley Stadium. After that, Swift has a two-month break on her schedule before returning on November 14 in Toronto.
