Priscilla Presley, American businesswoman and actress has shared the last moments she had with her daughter, Lisa Marie before she died.
Prscilla’s last moments with her daughter was at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles where they were celebrating Austin Butler’s Golden Globes win for “Elvis” in January.
“We had just gotten there, you go down all these stairs. I tripped a little bit because I had these high heels on, and she started laughing so hard,” the actress said.
“I started laughing. We hadn’t even had a drink yet. She goes, ‘Oh my God, Mom, you can’t even have a drink.’”
They both sat down to have a drink.
When Lisa Marie said, “Mom, my stomach hurts really bad,” she and Priscilla “immediately got up and left.”
Danny Keough called Priscilla a couple of days later and told her that her daughtered had suffered cardiac arrest. But Lisa died before her mother got to the hospital.
“I still can’t believe it,” Priscilla said “I don’t wish this on any mother.”
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner revealed six months later that the songwriter’s cause of death was a small bowel obstruction.
