Aston Villa ran riot, as they thumped Everton 4-0 in their second league game, after losing to Newcastle in the opening match of their campaign.
John McGinn, Douglas Luiz, Leon Bailey, and substitute Jhon Duran all scored to the pleasure of a lively Villa Park.

Jordan Pickfor conceded a penalty, having a bad contact with Watkins as the Englishmen lunged for the ball.
Pickford also got a yellow card for wasting time in the run-up of the penalty. But Douglas Luiz sent the opportunity away from Pickford’s read. The crowd went wild.
