George Soros debunked the trending news on May 15, 2023, that is dead following a heart attack, saying he is “alive and healthy”.
The false and confusing news came from social media posts claiming the billionaire financier died after suffering a heart attack.
George Soros himself said the rumor was not true in a tweet. His spokesman also confirmed that the news of his death was not true.
George Soros, 92, is a Hungarian-American investor, businessman, and philanthropist. He is known as the “most generous giver” because of the percentage of his worth which he donated to charity. As of March 2021, his net worth stood at US$8.6 billion after he donated 64% of his initial wealth of about $32 billion.
George Soros unfortunately has since been a target and victim of many conspiracy theories and false news.
He has been falsely accused of saying his “life’s mission to destroy the United States.”
At another time, another fake story had it that he funded fake climate change hoax.
Others include; Soros being a former Nazi, owning ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter, funding black hate groups and Soros paying for protesters.
