How The Killer Suspect, Nima Momeni, Murdered Bob Lee
According to reports, in the wee hours of April 4, Nima Momeni and Bob Lee, who were friends, were driving together through downtown San Francisco in a car registered to the Nima.
A confrontation allegedly started between the two men while in the vehicle, and this potentially continued after Lee exited the car. Police allege that Momeni killed Bob Lee by stabbing him multiple times with a knife that was recovered not far from the murder spot on the 300 block of Main Street to which officers initially responded.
According to the assertion, this explains why Lee was walking through a portion of Main Street in which there is little to no foot traffic at 2:30 a.m.
The brutal killing has once again ignited concern over public safety and the high rate of crime in San Francisco.

San Francisco had 56 cases of homicides in 2022, which is the exact same number of homicides the city saw in 2021.
