Bob Lee’s Killer (Nima Momeni) Was Known To Him | How He Was Murdered – Police

Bob Lee's Killer (Nima Momeni) Was Known To Him | How He Was Killed - Police

The San Francisco Police Department has arrested a man named Nima Momeni for the murder of Bob Lee.

In an operation that was made outside the city’s borders on April 4, the suspected killer of tech executive Bob Lee was arrested.

The alleged killer – Nima Momeni, also works in tech and is a man Lee purportedly knew.

According to reports, the police were dispatched to Emeryville with a warrant to arrest Nima Momeni. He is the owner of a company called Expand IT.

The police also said that the attack was not a robbery attack nor a random unprovocative attack.

Bob Lee, the founder of Cash App and the Chief Product Officer of MobileCoin was found dead in a deserted section of downtown San Francisco. He was killed by multiple stab wounds.

How Nima Momeni Allegedly Killed Bob Lee

According to reports, in the wee hours of April 4, Nima Momeni and Bob Lee, who were friends, were driving together through downtown San Francisco in a car registered to the Nima.

A confrontation allegedly started between the two men while in the vehicle, and this potentially continued after Lee exited the car. Police allege that Momeni killed Bob Lee by stabbing him multiple times with a knife that was recovered not far from the murder spot on the 300 block of Main Street to which officers initially responded.

According to the assertion, this explains why Lee was walking through a portion of Main Street in which there is little to no foot traffic at 2:30 a.m.

38 years old Nima Momeni has been booked into San Francisco County Jail on a murder charge, according to records.

San Francisco has seen an increase in crime rate. According to data from the police, the city has reported 12 cases of homicide this year – a 20% rise when compared to last year’s figure.

San Francisco had 56 cases of homicides in 2022, which is the exact same number of homicides the city saw in 2021.
