After so much, so it’s not news that Newcastle fans are loving life in London as they await the Carabao Cup final against Manchester United.

The Wembley showpiece is their first serious shot at major silverware since 1999 when they were defeated by the Red Devils in the FA Cup final.

A crowd of Magpies fans rallied in London to make sure they enjoy every moment of the League Cup final.

Supporters gathered in Trafalgar Square in joyous spirit, singing and dancing the night away as they prepare to watch their players on Sunday afternoon’s match.

Among those spotted enjoying the scenes in central London, were co-owners Mehrdad Ghodoussi and Jamie Reuben.

The two were in hoodies apparently to keep their identities hidden.

But a big cow cannot remain hidden in the savannah, especially after Ghodoussi uploaded a photo of them on Twitter.

He added: “To all our away fans who have traveled to London, let’s turn Wembley into St James’ tomorrow. Sing your hearts out and wave those scarfs. We are the 12th man on that pitch.”
