A man named José Miguel Polanco with the Twitter handle @josepolanco10 accurately predicted that Argentina’s Lionel Messi will win the World Cup 2022 in Qatar and become the greatest player of all time (GOAT), 7 years ago.
He had made the tweet which came true, on March 20, 2015, and pinned it at the top of his Twitter feed.
“December 18, 2022. 34-year-old Leo Messi will win the World Cup and become the greatest player of all times. Check back with me in 7 years.”
His tweet has since gone viral after Messi beat France to win the World Cup via Penalty after a 3-3 draw. The penalty ended 4-3.
Jose was in attendance to watch the World Cup finals live from Lusail Stadium.
Argentina had also been predicted to win the World Cup 2022 after Messi missed a penalty in the 3rd game, just like Kempes and Maradona did in 1978 and 1986 respectively, and both won
This is not the first time an individual has made a prediction about a world event that came true. A Twitter user who identified with “?” and the Twitter handle @aidemleoxide had correctly predicted the day the late Queen Elizabeth II died.
Aidemleoxide had tweeted on February 4, 2022, that the Queen of England will die on September 8 2022, and it came to pass.
Did José Miguel Polanco really make the prediction that Messi will win the World Cup? Unlike Aidemleoxide, which many people had countered as false, saying he had made his tweets using various dates, and when a date came true, he simply deleted the others.
