This is not the first time alcohol has been allegedly smuggled into Qatar stadiums by tourists/fans. A picture that circulated online depicted some alcoholic drink/Heineken cans covered in Coca-Cola and Pepsi wraps.

During the match between Portugal and Uruguay, a man had run into the football field holding a rainbow flag which symbolizes the LGBTQIA movement. Qatar is strictly against any form of homosexuality.
