A CCTV video of a restaurant in Melbourne showed the moment several Dine and Dash teens varnish after eating a $500 meal.

In the video posted on social media by Old School Pizza & Stone Grill in Coburg, the teens took an order of $500 and were eating their food at the outer dining area of the restaurant.

It was a night order around 8:30 pm and after eating, the video showed them slipping out through the scaffolding fence one by one – before the final boy runs away.

The Coburg restaurant, which has more than 120,000 followers on TikTok, posted the video to its account which has amassed more than a 1.5million views.

The restaurant’s owner Kamal Soueid who only got a hinge of what the boys did after he checked his cameras stated that none of them paid for their food, sending him a whooping $500 back.

‘In the seven years we have been here, something like this has never happened,’ Mr. Kamal said, as he was taken aback by the incident.

‘They had come in and even though we were fully booked we made room for them. We served them and they ordered what they wanted.’

It was targeted and a total disregard for anyone or anything.’

‘When the first boy got up, he looked around almost pretending he needed to get something from the store across the road. ‘I guess he was testing us to see if we were watching.’

‘It appears some of the boys planned to run away and it looked like the other guys were thinking, ‘Sh*t I’d better run too, I don’t want to be left alone.’

Many Tiktok users sympathized with Kamal and his family, as $500 is a good amount of money lost.

‘Sorry you guys had to experience this. By trusting and doing good by people and not taking money beforehand, people took advantage of it. Scums,’ a TikTok user commented.
