Real Madrid’s coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has revealed that he would rest some players when they play Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Tuesday.
If they defeat the Ukrainian titans at the Polish Army Stadium in Poland, the defending European champions would have secured their place in the next round with just two games remaining.
Ancelotti won’t likely select a strong team for the game, though, since Los Blancos will be focused on this weekend’s El Clasico versus Barcelona, their most hated rivals.
Including Fede Valverde, Vinicius Junior, and Luka Modric, the Italian coach has hinted that he will rest some of his starters.
In just two starts this year, the 31-year-old has scored once in four games for the Spanish and European champions.
Speaking after Belgium’s 2-1 victory over Wales in the UEFA Nations League, Hazard said that his situation at Real Madrid is delicate and expressed his desire for more playing time, according to Sports Mole.
