On Thursday, the FBI and the Chatham County Police Department provided an update on Quinton Simon.
Since October 5th, Quinton has been missing. Leilani Simon, Quinton’s mother, has been identified by police as the main suspect in both his disappearance and death, they said on Wednesday.
According to evidence acquired with the help of search warrants and interviews, Quinton is dead, Chatham County Police Chief Jeff Hadley stated during a news conference on Thursday.
Leilani Simon is the only suspect in Quinton’s disappearance and killing, Chief Hadley further stated. The chief claims that Leilani Simon has not been detained or officially charged yet.
